Hi and welcome. My name's Amanda. My story is a simple one and maybe a lot like other mom-tographers out there. I bought my first camera 6 years ago after the birth of my first and only child in the hopes that I would be able to take beautiful photos of my new little one. I will admit... it took me a full year before I finally took it off auto mode and finally started using it. After that I had friends and family ask me to photograph their little ones and that was the start of what Twelve Hundred is today. People ask about the name all the time and really, it's not a creative story at all... just the number of one of my favorite places, home. But I like to tell everyone that it's for my Maggie. She has literally given me Twelve Hundred reasons to love what I do, and I love being able to share that with you.
